The Architectural Drafting program is divided into five distinct modules.

●   Individual Module Path (CPD): For architects from outside Canada needing to learn AutoCAD or Revit specifically for Ontario building standards.

●   Full Certificate Path: All five modules for the Professional Certificate in Drafting and Design.

●   Module 1: Introduction to CAD Software and Drawing Logic: Learning the digital workspace and basic drafting geometry.

●   Module 2: Residential Design and Working Drawings: Creating floor plans, elevations, and sections for housing.

●   Module 3: BIM (Building Information Modeling) Fundamentals: Using intelligent 3D models to coordinate design data.

●   Module 4: Material Science and Construction Detailing: Learning how to draw specific wall assemblies and foundation details.

●   Module 5: Planning Act Compliance and Permit Application: Preparing drawing sets that meet Municipal and Provincial permit requirements.
