Program Registration Portal

For the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Education category, the goal is to position this 40-hour program as a high-tech, efficiency-focused "booster" for both active professionals and curious newcomers. By integrating AI-driven electrical design and diagnostic tools into the learning outcomes, we create a niche for the "Modern Electrician"—one who uses technology to work smarter, not harder.

  • Where Traditional Craft Meets Future Tech.

Program Overview

Upgrade your toolkit in just 2 to 4 weeks. Whether you are a seasoned Red Seal electrician needing to master the latest Ontario amendments or an individual seeking technical literacy, this 40-hour intensive program is designed for you. We bridge the gap between classic electrical theory and the future of the trade by incorporating AI-assisted diagnostic and project management tools

New Tech-Focused Learning Outcomes

  1. Upon completion, you will be able to:

  2. AI-Assisted Diagnostics: Use AI-powered thermal imaging and diagnostic apps to predict equipment failure before it happens.

  3. Smart Code Navigation: Leverage AI search tools to instantly cross-reference the 2024 Canadian Electrical Code for complex installations.

  4. Automated Project Estimating: Utilize AI software for rapid material take-offs and load calculation automation.

  5. Regulatory Updates: Master the latest OESC and CEC policy shifts affecting Ontario’s industrial and residential sectors.

Who Is This For?

  • The target audience for the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Education category at Can-College is strategically divided into two primary groups to ensure a diverse and innovative learning environment.

  • Maintenance Technicians: Individuals working in industrial or commercial settings who wish to master AI-powered diagnostic tools for predictive maintenance and fault detection.

  • Project Managers & Estimators: Professionals looking to integrate AI tools for automated material take-offs, load calculations, and project scheduling to increase efficiency.

     2. The Technical Aspirant (The Knowledge Seeker)

This segment caters to those looking to enter the field or gain specific technical literacy without committing to a full certificate immediately.

  • Career Switchers: Individuals considering a move into the electrical trade who want to test the waters with an intensive, high-tech introductory module.

  • DIY Enthusiasts & Property Owners: People who want to understand the basics of electrical technicalities and safety policies for their own knowledge and home management.
