The Modular Learning Model

The Electrical Technician program is divided into five distinct modules.

   Individual Module Path (CPD): Ideal for international electricians needing to bridge their knowledge to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC).

   Full Certificate Path: Completion of all five modules leads to the Professional Certificate, preparing students for apprenticeship or maintenance roles.


Specialized Module Breakdown

   Module 1: Electrical Theory and Circuit Analysis: Understanding voltage, current, and resistance in residential and commercial settings.

   Module 2: The Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC): Mastery of the legal standards and safety regulations for wiring in Ontario.

   Module 3: Blueprint Reading and Load Calculations: Interpreting electrical schematics and determining power requirements.

   Module 4: Residential and Commercial Wiring Methods: Hands-on training in conduit bending, box installation, and panel wiring.

   Module 5: Motor Controls and Industrial Systems: Introduction to relays, starters, and the automation used in modern facilities.


    Program fees, duration and other Details

    • Total Courses: 5 Modules (40 Hours per module) Continued Professional Development

    • Total Duration: 8 to 12 weeks

    • Tuition: $390 Pay-per-module (Affordable & High-Value) Pay As You Learn Fee Structure/Policy or

    • Total course fee including all modules $1800, save $150

    • Format: 100% Online or In-Class (Vaughan Campus)

    • No Maximum Age Limit: It is never too late to reinvent your future.
