In this event we will cover the legality of some impotent definitions with respect to role of an RCIC, RISIA and Recruiter and if they are allowed to charge any fee from the foreign national or not and consequences of any such violation.

For the purposes of this Act, a person is acting as a recruiter, consultant or any other professional

• Prohibition against charging fees - s. 7(1)
• Prescribed exceptions - s. 7(2)
• Prohibition against collecting fees - s. 7(3)
• Prohibition against cost recovery by employers
• Duty to provide documents to foreign nationals
• Recruiter’s duty to keep records
